This policy explains what data Oil-Gas.net collects and why. In short: we collect the minimum needed to run the site, we never sell your data, and we run no cross-site tracking.
Email addresses
If you subscribe to the newsletter, download a free tool, or create a job alert, we store your email address to send you that content. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to remove your address at any time via info@oil-gas.net.
Cookies
We use three small functional cookies only:
theme— remembers whether you chose light or dark mode.preferred_locale— remembers the language you picked in the site menu.lang_hint_dismissed— remembers that you closed the language suggestion banner.
We run no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers.
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics that record aggregate page views only — no personal profiles, no cross-site tracking, no data brokerage.
Forms and abuse protection
Public forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot-check that runs without setting tracking cookies.
Affiliate links and payments
Some links to training courses and tools are affiliate links — we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you (see the affiliate disclosure). When you buy a product from us, the payment itself is processed by the payment provider under its own privacy policy; we only receive the order record.
