Primary Purpose of the Job
Supervise the execution of offshore well services (rig-less) operations to ensure they are performed in accordance with QatarEnergy requirements in a safe, cost-effective and timely manner. The role oversees offshore intervention operations performed from well services vessels, barges, diving vessels, or drilling rigs, ensuring achievement of program objectives and compliance with HSE requirements.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 10 years' experience in well services related activities, including Slickline operations, Logging, Well Integrity investigations and repairs, Well Testing, Stimulation, Coiled Tubing operations, Cement Top-Up, and other well intervention activities.
- Experience with H₂S and CO₂ operations.
- Experience in offshore well intervention operations, contractor supervision, operational risk assessment and mitigation, and HSE compliance.
- Strong leadership, people management, analytical problem-solving, and operational decision-making skills.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in an Engineering discipline.
- Preference for Petroleum Engineering.
