Under a new five-year agreement, Omega Subsea will provide remotely operated vehicle (ROV) services for NKT Eleonora, a newbuild cable laying vessel (CLV) owned by NKT. The deal builds on an existing partnership between the companies, which already includes ROV services for NKT's vessel NKT Victoria. ROVs are unmanned underwater vehicles controlled from the surface and are widely used to support subsea tasks in offshore projects. With the new arrangement, Omega Subsea's ROV services will cover a second NKT cable laying vessel, extending the cooperation between the ROV provider and the vessel owner. Both NKT Eleonora and NKT Victoria now fall within the scope of the companies' collaboration.
