Omega Subsea has entered into a five-year agreement to provide remotely operated vehicle (ROV) services for NKT Eleonora, a newbuild cable laying vessel operated by NKT. The arrangement extends an existing cooperation between the two companies, which already includes ROV support aboard the NKT Victoria, another vessel in NKT's cable laying fleet. Under the deal, Omega Subsea will deploy its ROV equipment to support the subsea work associated with the cable installation activities performed by these vessels. The agreement brings a second vessel into the scope of services Omega Subsea delivers to NKT, widening the coverage of the partnership across the company's cable laying operations.
